Solo show Grimmuseum, Berlin

Solo show Rosenfeld Gallery, Tel Aviv
10.12.2015—16.01.2016
"The relatively domestic nature of Grimmuseum allowed Rodeh to shift from her large-scale monolithic works into more fragmented independent works. The exhibition includes a group of pseudo-figurative sculptures forming a “family” of interrelated representatives of social mobility. Staged photographs from the Safe and Sound Poster Series support these. The exhibition’s heart lies in a discreet video piece, which introduces a staged mental state of absorbing and being absorbed. An additional reading room dedicates to the Safe and Sound Deluxe Edition (published by The Green Box, 2015), an artist publication tackling in different manners the history of high-visibility clothing, fire regulations in architecture, and the phenomenon of acoustic alarms as seen from neurologic, sociologic and cultural perspectives." —Mario Margani
