Developed in collaboration with residents through workshop and discussions, כוסות לילה emphasizes a vision of renewal and repair over disposal. By modifying existing infrastructure, the project sparks dialogue on two critical issues: the growing impact of over-illumination and the capacity for public art to engage local communities.
Read about it on Ynet and Portfolio Magazine (HEB).
The project was made possible with the support of Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak and an anonymous donation. Special thanks to Yael Engelhart and Idan Hayosh, Tuval Ash Deby and Nira Dishi. Modelling: Nevo Bar; PETG 3D printing: Roboosta; Documentation: Tal Nisim
The project continues Rodeh’s initiative Nightcaps, a series of 15 interventions on spherical street lamps in Brunnenviertel, Berlin.
